Guidance - Grading Scale
Grading System:
Letter grades with their numerical equivalents are as follows. In
determining a grade average, any fraction is rounded to the next
highest number.
A - 90
to 100
B - 80
to 89
C - 70
to 79
D - 60
to 69
F - 0
to 59
Grade Computation:
For a
1 unit course, each nine weeks will count 40% and the final exam
will count 20% of the final grade.
For a
½ unit course, the final exam will count 20% of the final grade.
Report
cards will be sent home at the end of each 9 weeks with progress
reports sent at mid-grading period. No grade below “50” will be
given for the first grading period of each semester course.
