Dear Parents,

I cannot believe that the end of the school year is here! It has been a great year filled with many activities to engage our children both socially and academically. We have covered a lot of material. We have also been very fortunate to have the support of many community members and parents throughout this school year. The support that we have received has allowed our children to enjoy Straight A trips, PBIS celebrations every nine weeks, MEOW Mart, and many more fun activities that are framed around supporting our children to become productive citizens.

As your child gets ready for the upcoming school year, there are some very important things that you can do this summer to help them succeed. Take the time to listen to your child read and make sure that they are reading each night. Practice their math facts so that they will be ready for the next grade level. Encourage your child to write often. If you go on vacation this summer, encourage your child to take a journal with them and write a little bit about their trip. Demonstrate and practice good social skills and help them make good choices.

It has been my pleasure getting to know your children. Having parental and community support was an essential part of the many successes that our children have had this year. I would like to personally thank each and every one of the parents, grandparents, and other family members who have taken the time to volunteer and come to our many parent and community meetings that we have been so fortunate to have. Your dedication and support has been a critical part of your child’s success and has not gone unnoticed.

Thanks again for a wonderful year. Have a
save and relaxing summer!

With gratitude,

Dr. Wendy C. Pace
