Dear Parents / Guardians,

As you are aware our schools will be closed the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year as declared by the governor. Any further updates regarding the closing of our schools will be posted on the Dillon School District Four website (www.dillon.k12.sc.us) and phone calls will be made. News outlets will also provide additional information as we receive it.

School closings have not deterred us from our goal of educating your child(ren). Maintaining educational services for our students is essential. Our teachers have worked hard to create instructional lessons for each of our students that cover the state standards for their grade level and use resources that all students will have access to. The teachers have prepared hard copies of all of the materials the students will need to complete the assignments as well as electronic copies that can be accessed through our school webpage. To access our school webpage, you will go to the Dillon School District Four website (www.dillon.k12.sc.us) and located on the left top of that page you will find a drop box titled Select A School. By using the drop box you can select Stewart Heights Elementary School. This will take you to our personal school webpage where you will find Instructional Assignments by grade level at the top of the page. You will select the grade level and the materials for two weeks of instruction can be accessed.

If instructional assistance is needed regarding the assignments, our teachers will be available Monday – Friday between the hours of 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. via school email. Each teacher’s email address is sent with the instructional hard copies as well as located on our school webpage.

As with all things, this too will pass! In the meantime, we wish for our students to continue their studies and work diligently to work towards the EXCELLENCE that we know they are all capable of.

Thank you,

Dr. Wendy S. Cook

Principal
