National Honor Society
The Dillon High School Chapter of the National Honor Society is a chartered and affiliated chapter of the national organization. It elevates a school's commitment to the value of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Membership is open to those junior and senior students who meet the required standards.

Army JROTC
The JROTC program prepares high school students for leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. JROTC teaches young men and women the kind of self-discipline, self-confidence, and leadership skills that can help them successfully meet the challenges of adulthood.

DHS Marching Band
The DHS Marching Band, also known as the Marching Cats, have proved to be an awesome group of musicians. They have won a plethora of trophies and recognition over the years.

Journalism
DHS Journalism Class responsible for creating the DHS Yearbook. Students take pictures, build layouts, and other task to create a yearbook students will forever keep.

Anchor Club
Through, dedicated volunteer service programs and leadership-building opportunities, DHS Anchor Club strives to instill valuable qualities and characteristics in today's young people, enabling them to Be More every day.

Teacher Cadets
The primary goal of the Teacher Cadet Program is to encourage academically talented, high-achieving, high school students with exemplary interpersonal and leadership skills to consider teaching as a career.

Academic Challenge
Students participate in a team competition in which they answer questions based on grade level standards during a match with students from other local high schools.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
Any student may voluntarily attend any FCA meeting held each Thursday morning before school. FCA seeks to engage, equip, and empower students to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same.

National Beta Club
The National Beta Club is an international honor society for 4th through 12th-grade students. Its purpose is to promote academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among elementary and secondary school students.

Student Council
The Student Council is an organization dedicated to developing student leadership, promote good citizenship, and foster cooperation among students.

American Red Cross Club
The Red Cross Club members host the school Blood Drives. Along with training and leadership development opportunities, students can participate in activities that support the lifesaving services of the Red Cross.

Upward Bound
Upward Bound is a free, pre-college program for high school students in South Carolina that helps them prepare for higher education. It provides access to academic support, after-school and weekend activities, a summer residential program and college placement services. DHS partners with Coker College to offer Upward Bound services.
The Clemson Emerging Scholars Program
The Clemson Emerging Scholars Program focuses on academic preparation, leadership skills and the college application process. Clemson representatives work with students on campus, as well as during their summer visits to Clemson’s campus. This three-year program begins in the summer after the students complete ninth grade and continues until they graduate from high school and enter college.
