Welcome ...

Powers-Penuel

At South Elementary School, we believe all students need respect, structure, and consistency in order to be successful.  We believe it is impossible to teach a child until we inspire the child.  We believe every student needs to feel like a valued, important human being every day.  We believe it truly takes the district, schools, parents, community and students working together and forming partnerships for students to be successful.  We look forward to working with all of you to provide the same for our students at South Elementary School.

As the instructional leader of our fine elementary school, I enthusiastically embrace the task of continuing to ensure that students are prepared with the necessary tools to be productive citizens.

I look forward to working with you and serving your child.  Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.  Thank you for your support in advance to ensure a successful, safe school year.

We hope you enjoy learning about our school. We are one of four elementary schools in Dillon School District Four. South Elementary was built in 1954 with an addition in 1992. South Elementary serves students in preschool through third grade.
