Title I

Computer Labs

The Stewart Heights Title 1 computer lab has thirty computers and a Promethean board. It is staffed with a computer lab assistant. Classes are scheduled twice a week to reinforce reading and math instruction.

The Stewart Heights Title 1 computer lab II hosts 25 student computers and a Promethean Board. This lab serves as a typing lab for the students teaching key location and correct form for typing efficiently on a keyboard. 

Library Media Center

The Stewart Heights media center has ten student computers and a Promethean board. There are two carts of thirty laptops each and two carts of thirty iPads for teachers to check out for use with their classes. The collection includes over 13,000 items for teacher and student use. In order to encourage reading, the media specialist administers the Reading Counts program in which students take computerized tests on books which they have read.
