Our
school district is one of two districts located in Dillon County.
Dillon District Four has boundaries on the North Carolina state line on
one side and the counties of Florence, Marion, and Marlboro on the
others.
Dillon School District Four has an enrollment of approximately 4100
students, which are housed in six schools. We have an open door
policy. Our parents are always welcome.
Our mission in Dillon School District Four is to improve the academic
performance of all students. It is at the center of all we do. Every
program we implement reflects our commitment to help each child
experience success.
Teachers, support staff, administrators, parents and patrons are
committed to the on-going improvement of our district. Through
collaborative efforts, we continue to provide a productive and positive
environment for students and employees.
We are committed to doing all we can to improve public education.
Together we can and will create learning environments that give students
the tools they need to reach their potential in the classroom, perform
successfully in the workplace, and fulfill their responsibilities as
citizens in the community. The main focus of the district is to
reinforce those practices and strategies proven by research to be most
effective in impacting student achievement.
