Dear Parents:

I hope you have had a peaceful and relaxing summer. It really has gone by quickly. Now it is time to look forward to a new and productive school year. With your assistance, the teachers and I will be able to help your child have his/her best year ever.

Your child’s first day at Stewart Heights Elementary will be on Monday, August 115, 2022. Teachers will be on duty by 7:30 a.m. to greet students and assist them to their classrooms. Classes begin at 8:00 a.m., so please have your child here by that time.

Please see that your child wears their transportation tag to and from school for the first week.

If your child is going to be a car rider, he/she will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m. Teachers will be on duty to help load the students from 2:30 – 2:50 p.m. We do not have duty teachers to watch students after that time.

Please read the items below in preparation for the opening of school.

1. School Registration: Parents may come in to register new students in kindergarten through third grade between the hours of 8:00 – 3:30 p.m. Parents must provide: Birth Certificate, S.C. Immunization Sheet, Social Security Card,

3. Breakfast and lunch will be served free to all students.

4. Orientation for four-year-old kindergarten students is scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
